Dual wielding Vs 2h

A big debate between which one is better. Im really unsure but with this new boss coming out with the new 2h t90 weapons there are going to be some big debates about which is better
Personally all I hope is that one will be cheap

 

I prefer duel wielding because I like the abilities better and I find 2hands a bit slow.

 

Duals weapons and two-handers both have the same dps (damage per second) if you aren't using abilities. But if you are using them, the concept tends to differ. Two-handed abilities are often good for hitting more foes at once, while duals deal more of an up-front damange. I personally prefer duals for the use of destroy.

 

If your trying to Top damage its really close tbh and depends what you are fighting.

I normally go bleed rotation with dual drygore rapiers for max dps on QBD. I found it to be the fastest clear times

also for mage I run Aphyxiate /Metamorphisis Rotation on all bosses weak to magic for max dps.

I dont use range, its boring and takes forever lol even with my ascensions im feeling really bored with ranger rotation.

As of current eoc, duel wield is superior to 2h in almost every situation. Concentrated blast, needle strike, destroy, unload, etc, make dual wield vastly superior to 2h. The only situations when 2h is superior are pvp for smash ability and dg for the aoe abilities and certain rings only activating with 2h weapons.

 

I don't play RS3 often, but I rather use dual wielding.

 

I like dual wielding cause of the speed but I guess 2Hs also have their perks (haven't tried one out yet though!)
