I have quite a few watches, but I only wear one. I do have a Rolex Daytona my uncle gave me years ago, but I never wear it. I've been robbed too many times to bring it anywhere. I live right downtown and it's to the point where I almost get robbed or in a fight every time I go to the gas station down the street. I pretty much only wear my Cadence. It does the job and looks nice.

 

I'm joking I have a timex expedition. I wear it because it's durable and has a compass on it

I dont wear one. Im not a fan of jewelry or accessories of any sort.

Besides who actually uses a watch anymore.

Well, a lot of people.. They're extremely handy. I understand a quick look at a phone is just as easy to see the time, but phones have batteries, phones cannot be accessible at all times (E.G) exams etc where they're forbidden. Therefore your point is invalid. I didn't ask if you wear one or not, and to give a shit answer saying "nobody uses them" because theres already been many replies to this post saying what people wear. Therefore, once again- your post is invalid.

 

First off NOTHING you said makes my post invalid, I didnt say nobody wears them i asked who really uses them. I understand people wear them but very few of them actually use them to tell time. Its status symbol bs and I'm just not into that. Also I am not 14 and in school so your point is invalid (see what I did there). FYI I CANT wear shit like that to work. Dont be so quick to take things so critically. I can smell butthurt but dont know why. Also aside from the few perpetual motion and solar powered watches they all have batteries lol, not sure where you were going with that.

I dont think his point was "omg you may break it!" . I think he was making a remark as to how tacky that is. I have a good friend who owns two rolex's one his grandfather gave him and another he bought after saving up a looong time. He wears either of them maybe once a week. Its called class but you have already asserted you have none.

Took the words right out of my mouth. The only analogy I can think of at the moment is like owning Ferrari. You're not supposed to drive it everywhere and take it to your kid's soccer games, running errands, commuting to work in it, etc.
