Why do you think it's lame? This was one of the best things I've read in a while, fake or not, it definitely freaked me out. I like how you distinguished the correlation of time and effort. The more time spent on something, the better the outcome.

Contrary your beliefs, for me, spending countless hours and effort writing little ghost stories that try to troll and scare little kids on the internet is not my ideal way of being productive. If you really want a good and thrilling read, go read real literature from authors such as Edgar Allen Poe or Alfred Hitchcock - not this Reddit crap.

This is part of the subreddit /r/nosleep. Everything posted in the thread is generally accepted as fake, but the rules are that you play along. The dude who made this wasn't trying to convince anyone this was real, he just wanted to try to make a semi-realistic, creepy story. And he succeeded, in my opinion.

 

This. A lot of people dont understand the point of creepy pasta.

Pretty good find OP. I dont use reddit or fb often so it was new to me. Havent seen much good creepy pasta around lately.
