Looking for RSPS help

Hey I am currently looking to start up a RSPS, I have tried to make some in the past but have very little experience with them. Currently looking for a group of people to help me with making this, past experience is a plus. Need to know how to upload them onto a website, pretty much looking for help with everything about it. To be honest the most free help you're going to get is help getting a source working. No one with "experience" is going to be ultra interested because they can be working on their own project.

So you are suggesting one that promotes rwting? where you could buy and sell your items in the RSPS forum for $$ for example?

I would make everyone that helped make this a reality a major player ranked in the RSPS possibly would receive a better payment if it actually takes off or gets some amount of members. More of an investment for most people the way I see it

 

As a developer you can be 100% in control of your own rsps, unless you have hundreds of dollars for advertising and/or paying a developer I don't think you'll get someone to actually put effort into programming.

Your best bet is rune-server.org, this is epic for private server help. Also, if you add my skype in my signature, i'd be willing to help assuming your server is 718 because that's the only past experience i've had.

 

Yes. Why ban the people who enjoy your game? Your essentially banning your own customers. Maybe not allow it directly on the rsps's forums but on the other hand dont ever bother trying to stop it.

How many times have I heard "Server X I have been playing for X time and they ban me" Users want to find a good rsps and stay with it, but a lot rwt an get banned. Just let the rwt go out of control and to each there own.

Real RS was a lot more popular when rwt was big. More rwt = More players = more donations

 

This is a good point. The only problem might be that the in-game currency wouldn't be worth much because there would be so much of it. So say everyone had 25B each, an item that is meant to be like 100K would have to be 100M. Like inflation.

 

It is good to not disallow gp but also bad. It turns im to "the person with the most money is the best player". But it's only really bad for games like the official rs game because with rsps, all people really want to do is pk and shit anyways.

 

Yes this is true, if the RSPS is worth a shit RWTing will happen no matter what. It would be best to embrace it rather then try and fail to stop it in the long run.

I don't really see items inflating their price that dramatically. But as far as inflation goes it would happen whether or not RWTing was allowed or "stopped" depending on how easily the gold/high value items are to come by.
