We grilled a like 1 1/2" thick steak tonight on the egg. It was a really great steak. It was like 2.3 pounds so we just shared it and it was glorious.

Try Tajin seasoning. Its usually used on fruitsvand veggies but it kills it on grilled chicken or corn.

Also try it on raw cucumber slices, shit is cash.

Grilled some delicious kabobs today (skewered meat, onions, peppers). Definitely turned out great. Had chicken and pork. Cooked it longer at lower heat.

Get a pizza stone. It works great on a Big Green Egg: http://www.biggreenegg.com/ because the grill can easily hit 750 degrees and it is lined with stone like a real pizza oven.

Pff, I grill when it rains rofl, I just put the big umbrella up, drag the stove under and grill away.

However my grill works with gas, I'm hoping to get one that doesn't run on gas soon but I don't want something ridiculously expensive. Here is an image of my one :

Weber charcoal grills are actually a lot less than a gas grill. $150 bucks for a nice grill that will last forever if you take care of it and not leave it out in the rain and snow.

Anyone doing anything for the 4th? I'm cooking some pineapple wrapped bacon and a burger for lunch... Trying out the pineapple to see if I should make the rest for dinner or not.

I had pulled pork for my birthday last night. I really want to make some once I get my egg (which I'm debating since it is a bit more than I thought).

Yea, they are pretty expensive, but well worth it. If you think about how much you spend whenever you eat out, in a little over a year, the egg will have about paid itself off. What size are you looking at?
