currently rocking Stillaire RDA/Trident RDA with my Sentinel mod..not too bad, need to get better at building though, im about average, get some good builds and some terrible ones haha

Clone or authentic?

 

I'm currently using a fasttech k100 with a justfog 2043 clearomizer
it's the best I've had so far, but I want to go deeper

I really want to get into RDA rebuilding and I have all the materials but with my current rda not screwing onto my k100 for some reason, I'm buying a new one alongside a new mod

All my RDA's and RBA's except my omega are authentic my mods are clones. I find this to be the best combo of $ efficient without taking away to much quality.


Oh some specs

Kayfun - .8 ohm single coil 28 gauge kanthal
Aqua - .6 ohm dual coil 28 gauge kanthal
Omega - .6 ohm dual coil 28 gauge kanthal
Cats - .18 ohms dual Tigre Wire Omega wire (nice hot vape with massive clouds, the air circulation system in my cats keeps the temp perfect tho.

 

My set ups listed below vary. You can buy the best quality clones (Hcigar) mods for 30-40. However i don't reccomend buying clone tanks/drippers frankly they suck.

Authentic mods are normally 230-300.

I buy all my juice from Vapeoholic. They are based in Cali and currently only take orders via facebook. HOWEVER, they're juice is phenomenal. 30mL for $15. Price is great but the flavor is better then every other vendor i've tried.

 

Its not bad but if you really wanna get into vaping mech mods with fat RDA's are the way to go. Check out rip trippers review on the Cats thats the dripper i run at .18 ohms! Kicks out huge clouds. Let me know if you have any questions i've educated myself a decent bit

 

The mod itself along with two atomizers, a battery + charger and a sexy ribbed drip tip (not shown in the picture) was pretty cheap; only around 34 bucks?
The cartomizer in the pic, which I regret buying was around $20. I wish that I had spent an extra $10 on getting a nautilus

You can buy dekang juice at pretty low prices at fasttech. I think that it would be a gamble if you decided to buy 450ml of dekang or any other juice all at once, because you don't know if you'd like it or not.

Plus, it takes 3~4 weeks for your package to arrive if you choose free shipping and if you buy too much, they'll send your stuff in separate packages that can be shipped days apart.

I googled for Cats RDA and found that it's made in Korea..? I have no darn idea why they don't sell it here.

My pockets are never really full, so I guess that I'll have to get a clone at fasttech.

Is a mech mod different from what I'm using? I really want to get into puffing fat clouds that people would mistake for smoke from smoke grenades.

 

Okay you have a mechanical mod but its def lower tier no offense! First of, fasttech NO NEVER SHITTIEST CLONES. Buy hcigar clones only trust me on that. Your tank is def lacking again no offense. And the Cats clone is horrible absolute shit, it has 2 posts instead of 4 and is completely flawed in design. My advice is to buy one of the top mechanical mods, Nemesis is a beast, Stingray, Tree of Life, Hades, Turtle Ship

I recommend a Nemmy. And if you want a good dripper maybe the TOBH Atty, or a cats if you want to spend 120, the 3D dripper is a dripper with a small built in tank. Also the Patriot is a beast. I suggest the patriot or TOBH which will be around $70-$80. So all in you'd be in around $120 assuming you use the same battery size and you already have a charger.

what is the dif between my mod and a nemmy? i thought they were all just direct battery to atty connections and nothing more haha

and are authentic RDAs worth it? because as far as i know, clone mods are usually just as good as the real thing, so i was guessing that its the same for RDAs

 

Nice thread, my buddies picked up a couple and I will be most likely as well.

 

RDA clones are typically up to par with authentic ones, however becareful when buying Clone RDA's as some of them can be a hit or miss scenario..for example, i bought two stillaire RDA clones..one of them was just terrible in everyway, where as my other clone (different company) was perfect

 

upside down but you get the point, some rookie stuff I just picked up, wasn't too much but it gets the job done.

Idk how to explain it from a technical standpoint. But every mod i hit it different, and out of all the mods i''ve hit my nemmy is my favorite. And as far as the RDA's its very very hit or miss. The cats clone for example is just plain wrong. The Hcigar patriot clone is pretty solid. But spending the extra $35 or so for the authentic is worth every penny.

 

haha nope I'm a cheapass so I'm just picking up a fasttech clone with good reviews on it.

Pick up some omega tigre wire . And i've had horrible experiences with fasttech clones. I prefer hcigar. What RDA are you going to buy?
