Should I report stupid botters?

The dude next to me has been walking back in forth on 2 squares for about 3 hours; This guy is wearing full steel and he is on a member's world. His bot is for skilling and not making money. I think if I report him he will probably get banned; he is obviously a bot. I added him as a friend in case he stops botting.

I'm not against botting but this guy's bot is broken.

 

Well why would you report him? Think about it this way, if your bot broke and started doing that, would you want to be reported for it? I mean just let natural selection do its thing if you aren't against Bots.

If you are not against botting, then why report him? If his bot is broken, he will get banned soon because other people will report him anyway and jagex notice failed bots very easily.

 

Botters are botters, if you are one yourself then no

Now Jagex catch bots very well, so I don't think that you need to report them

 

They only catch the ones that get reported or the ones using injection or reflection bots.

 

If its better for you, just report him, its your choice man. Some of us can say that playing without botters is more interesting!

 

Report the huge gold farming botters with the silly names

 

totally up to you. Depends on whether you bot or not, but if u do bot, don't report him.

 

Your an asshole if you report anyone botting. Especially posting in the Runescape CHEATING section...

If you're a botter yourself, would you like it if someone reported you?
It's safer to just not report anybody.
When you report someone, it's also like if you reported yourself, because Jagex reviews the reporter's account as well, to see whether they should be a Player Moderator or not. Then, they'll discover that you're a botter and ban you as well.
