Cant play RS07 on my mac

Having a lot of trouble playing RS07 on my mac. But mainly I can't recover my account due to java not working.

I click "Run on this site", then it says error_game_crash.

If someone can help me I'd be very grateful and will even donate something to you for your time. Thanks

 

Not sure if you have looked at this already but here's a link to some things you can try: I receive an 'error game crash'.

Have you tried installing the client and using that?

 

Just use ORION client, it works for me on my mac and it's a great tool, such as highscores, calculator, price checking system, etc.

It's also allowed on RS as they have developers from RS working with the client, so it's nothing you could get banned for.

 

Trouble is I need to make a appeal to get a runescape account back and I can't..

 

Use orion, or you can download the official RS client, but you would have to look up a guide to make it 07.. Just get orion.. much easier..

Ohh! Are you sure your java is up to date? If it is, try using another browser, Sometimes stuff won't work for me on Safari so i tend to try Firefox/Chrome. Let me know how it goes.

 

Appealing for a ban or account recovery? Either way, you would be better off emailing them than contacting them through the site.

 

Clear your cache, delete your cookies, reload the game.

 

have u tried download the desktop verison?

 

Account recovery and it requires a java plugin that's not working. I have spoken to jagex through twitter and all they do is link me to what I've done already

 

Reading through the thread it seems you've tried almost everything. Have you tried using a different computer/your phone?

 

If you're using a 64bit browser (Chrome for OSX/Firefox 64bit) it will not run Java Applets. You'll need to switch to Safari.

 

Try different browsers. I have to actually play the game on the downloadable client.

 

Only my safari works. Mozilla usually doesn't. And it keeps doing this thing where like if I try rotating the camera it won't stop rotating.
