im not trying to be racist or anything, it's just that some (not all) black people think that they are better than whites or hispanics. (im hispanic BTW) they act like it, talk like it, all that crap. that's why i judge people on who they are and how they act not necessarily theyre skin color. it just so happens to be that they are all black. my best buddy last year befre i moved was black, and we hung out all the time. he is a good example of a black person taking full advantage of the corrections in society and not trying to exploit it. he is an american, just like the rest of us.

Simply put, double standards will always exist. We are made equal. But not equal in ability, equal in the chance to inherit random abilities. Therefore, we will never actually be equal skill wise.

Same thing applies here. People apply different standards to different people. Its gone on since the beginning of time, when Roman Emperors ruled over their empire, or when Genghis Khan conquered Asia and Europe.

Obviously, no one applied the same standards they did with a soldier to Genghis Kahn himself. Thats why no one will ever apply the same standards to a person of African American decent to a person of European decent. The history of country is simply too twisted to accept ranking them equally. Of course, none of that is actually openly expressed today, but in smaller societies such as high schools, it is extremely prominent, although not always in a bad/negative way.

 

I agree with your earlier post, I disagree with the amount of reverse discrimination today though... White people and colored people should have equal rights, right now it is not equal...

In america for any job they have the situation where there has to be an amount of black people in each workplace/business etc. So it basically means that instead of the most skilled person getting the job a maybe less skilled black person will get the job. That is not equal.

In Australia the amount of reverse discrimination with the aboriginal people is horrific and in no way equal rights.

For a standard single white person over 21 the unemployment wage is about $360 dollars a fortnight or 180 a week and you cant earn anything if you have any equity or ownership of investments etc.

For a single aboriginal person over the age of 21 the wage for unemployment is roughly 580-700 a week depending on where they live etc. Not only this but all healthcare, housing and benefits are always given to an aboriginal person before a white person. Not only this but aboriginals can even apply for car loans through centrelink (the welfare office in australia) up to 30.000 dollars with no interest... Sure most white people here can get finance like that with a good credit rating, but they will still be paying high interest.

For an unemployed aboriginal, life is pretty much given to you on a silver platter but most choose to piss it away with alcohol and drugs. Also yes it was the white people that brought alcohol to Australia in the beginning, and it's what messed up with the aborigine's low tolerance for alcohol but 200 years or so later if its our fault they are so fucked up with alcohol then they shouldnt really have an objection to a law against drinking for aboriginal people.

I'm sorry but when I see good hard working people out of work for medical reasons that cant get a cent from the service they have paid taxes into for most of their life while any aboriginal can get a decent amount of money and benefits just for being aboriginal it sickens me.

The majority of people in Australia don't drive a car worth over $30,000 unless they are earning a 50-80k+ salary a year, which some will not ever earn.

There is the rarity of a few decent aboriginal people in Australia, but the majority sickens me I personally hate paying taxes to fund a lazy drunk community.

1) Black people and "minorities" live in Ghetto's because
a - Racism still exists. It did not end 40 years ago, its still here today
b - Because of the racism, its much harder to get job and education.
c - Not having a job, or having low paying job wich minorities are forced to get because they are not offered good ones even if perfectly capable, you will NOT have money,
d - Thus you will have to live somewhere cheap a.k.a Ghetto's

There is black history month because

A - All the other 11 months are basicly white history, The only time we even speak about black events is during black history month

BET is somthing like black history month. Because

A - Its a place for black people host shows, and be apart of somthing
B - Most of the channels on TV, like sitcoms however you spell it. Have majority of white people. New stations Majority of white people. BET just gives a home to black people because they are discrimated almost everywhere else.
