Whoever banned me needs to step down

Whoever banned me should literally resign and go back to elementary school. You fail as a moderator and are incompetent at your job. You obviously cannot comprehension the same basic rules that you are suppose to be enforcing.

I got banned for "defacing a user's picture". I highly suggest you take a dictionary and look up what the word 'defacing' means. Oh wait... I forgot. You don't even need to do that because its right there alongside the defacing rule.


Now please tell me how I was defacing someone's picture in this post: http://www.sythe.org/13618784-post1173.html , when the original was posted by the user himself here http://www.sythe.org/13299831-post544.html

First off, I strongly recommend that you tone down the dramatic language. You are currently making this thread trying to get us to agree that the ban was misguided however attacking staff by name calling is a very good way of extending your current ban. You might not be aware of this but there is a Zero Tolerance Rule on sythe towards staff members.

Also, you might not know but we don't get paid for the time we put into this site. We do it so that the community can be a better place. In this case you clearly haven't learned how to be respectful of other user's property. It clearly states you must have the users consent. Which you didn't therefore the week ban stays.

The moderator who banned you was just following the rules. I went back and reviewed the ban. And you deserved it because you didn't have the users consent. But for the record staff isn't punishing you for the name calling however we ask that you please refrain from it in the future even if you are angry. Thanks, and see you in a week

 

Given what I said previous, I'd like to change my stance given this:

Abarta probably bitched for the ban for the lulz, the intent wasn't criminal.

Precedent set was for an unban for previous user. Therefore, I support the same for this user.

 

The intent was to cause emotional harm to the user "Abarta", he can serve out his ban.

 

That was a joke in the spam forum...(oh course I know the real person behind the bans). I made a judgement call based upon how previous reports from Abarta on the same issue were handled. <_<

I don't even know what you're talking about. This ban is over this post that was made within the sandbox http://www.sythe.org/13618784-post1173.html which still hasn't been deleted for some reason, even though it contains a users personal photograph that has been altered without their consent.

 

I think we are getting confused, I meant the joke about Richard doing the banning was purely a poor taste joke by me in the spam forum. And I'm sorry for that, I've no idea why the post is still there you may remove it. And I do understand the incident occurred in the sandbox.

 

I am the one who placed the ban. You edited the photo of said user to be used for a purpose different than what was originally intended. That is my reasoning but I'll allow another staff member to make the decision.
