yeah, but to combat people using autoclickers and such try doing the 1 month method after a system update for example the ones that barely happened would have been a good time to have done it. just be very quick.

 

You have complete control over when the name drops with the 1 month method. If it's a very rare name it'll be sought after no matter how you're transferring it, so it's best to consult someone familiar with the process if you haven't done it before. If you're transferring something that's semi-rare but not really worth sniping you can probably get away with taking no special precautions and transferring it using the method listed there

Someone who notices the exact day you changed it will know exactly when it can change and might try on that day to steal it

 

If it's really very rare, someone is likely targeting it. It's an unfortunate reality of the way name changing is handled.

As soon as you change the name on the account, it becomes available for anyone to take if that's what you mean? You can transfer the name immediately after the 28 days are up, but people usually wait a couple days because of what Fluff said

Well after the second change of course.. If you're transferring "Hello", you'd change the name to "Hello123" and after 28 days change it to "Hello456".. As soon as it's changed to "Hello456", "Hello" becomes available. That's what I meant above, the way I said it was a little strange

 

So the original name does not become available until after I have changed my name for the second time when I can instantly change the account I want the name on to it?

 

If the name is very rare, there is a very good chance it will get banned if you move it. (personal experience)
