Is Speed hacking bannable?

I hack the speed of runescape with cheat engine and it is fast, is it bannable?

 

no. It's just 'illusion' for you, nothing like this happens on server.

I know this is a complicated question but i'll ask anyways. How is it that people can speed hack in some games and not others?

 

Because some games are Client sided and others are server sided

Is this very far off? It looks like the character is actually moving fast. Although the poster could have just sped up the video -.-

This vid is true, but when I chop ivy with speedhack, I don't see any lag. (Speedhack is set to 200)

But as some people said, I think too it's just illusion, but looks cool.

 

but how does it appear so fast...? Like, it makes me want to believe that you could fish more fish, cut more logs, etc etc. but that can't be the case.. so what's actually happening?

 

Yeah I was thinking exactly the same if you train skills like woodcutting or fishing, it really seems faster

 

test it.. see what you get in an hour normal speed, then speed it up and see what happens.

Appears that fast because cheat engine changes the client side of the runescape variables. But since everything basically operates on the server side, nothing can really be changed. So you may start in varrock and run to falador wicked quick but in reality, to other players, you arent there yet. And if you were to walk to a tree and click it, you wont immediately start chopping because in reality your character is still walking over to the tree.

And They would never know you were using cheat engine. You can change your money stack with cheat engine too. But try to trade it.
