Jayce 4.10

What do you think about Jayce with the new item? Do you think he's viable again in the toplane?

Should we be seeing some Jayce in the LCS?​

 

Jayce has been viable for quite a while. The new item looks quite good as far as complementing his kit, but it's also quite expensive for the other stats it gives.

 

indeep the item isn't that cheap, also i think GP can lane for ages with his Q.

 

Its going to be something fun to try out.

 

It also puts Jayce even farther behind with his Tear. Getting 2700 gold into the game takes a good 12-13 minutes, at which point it's too late to start charging a Tear.

It may work really well with Jayce, but it will change his playstyle in my opinion.

 

Jayce is still very good, he just doesn't fit terribly well into the current meta (I've always liked him mid way more than top, anyways, try it out.)

As far as the item is concerned, I don't know. I think it'll be a small buff for him, but as others have stated, it is pretty expensive.

 

i dont even see a point in this item, really. why does it cost so much to restore mana but SO little for lifesteal(starts at 440 with dblade)

anyways it's supposed to be good on blue ez but i haven't really seen anyone play it.

 

Blue Ez never really has mana problems. Once his tear gets to 350-400, and he has a Sheen (+200 mana), Ezreal is fine.

 

Jayce is like Talon. Still good with those mechanically sound with them and superior to others in 1v1 scenarios. Essentially good soloQ champs where your 1v1 superiority in skill can win you the game. Not so good in pro games, where it's more of a team emphasis.
