I dislike how they won't at least increase the protection from 50 percent PvM. I realize that 100 percent was OP in the past because you could circumvent a lot of the challenges, but with EoC it's so easy to heal with abilities and the abilities themselves are powerful so 50 percent is appropriate. However, I think 75 percent protection in Legacy would be justified.

 

2011 = way better all players would return

 

True, but they said they can't bring it back...

 

They're not going to make yet another version of the game though. As in more servers.

Even if it was plausible, Jagex is way too prideful and frankly arrogant to ever admit EoC was rushed + basically a failure.

 

A lot of the RSPS' have 500+ active players on there. Most of those servers have the 2011 interface. Kind of interesting to see what would happen if they did bring that back like 07 or something.

However, I don't really want to see that because of too many games going around.

 

There's little doubt more people liked 2011 more, there's just even littler doubt Jagex would ever further separate the community than they already have.

I didn't really like it because even though the combat was the slow paste combat that everyone wanted. You still have that EoC feel to it.

 

Honestly not a big fan, thought I would be but I like how the game is now a lot better >_<

 

They admitted when it first came out that it was rushed. The Game was in a good state before EoC but it recevied alot of negative attention.

 

Rushed "and basically a failure" -- They won't admit it's a failure. It has to be considered such though because it created so much dead content.

And that from someone that is fine with playing EoC. Just not fine with the way Jagex handled it.

But then again, when do they ever handle things cleanly?:noworry:

 

In an ideal world, we (those who hate/dislike the EoC) would love probably just about every update right up until the Introduction of the EoC, in a seperate server where we wouldn't even have to think about the abomination called the Evolution of Combat.

In saying that, Jagex have made it quite clear that it (seperate servers) will not be happening.

So I personally believe, as some sort of compromise that Legacy comes awfully close to what we became so fond of for the 10 years+ pre the EoC.

I personally really do like what I am seeing and testing out on the Beta, and I highly urge all the neysayers to get on and give it a go.

 

i fukin love it brahs dead srs try it out, it has that 2011 element to some extent, although it is EOC laden in some aspects like stance etc.

 

They're gonna be changing some of the stances to be more Pre-Eoc like in Legacy before it's released they said.

I nearly vomitted after killing 1st NPC, I definitely wont come back even if legacy will be out

Dark Bow is so OP. I literally killed someone by mistake/without even trying it's that OP.

Some guy attacked me while my window was closed, and I ended up KOING him LOL. I brought the window back up, saw I was getting attacked, got ready to run..then noticed him die.
