Player Moderator Accounts

Does anyone know of an OS runescape moderator account that was/is up for sale? If so, how much is it/ was it going for?

If not, what would you price the account at?

 

1k + atleast.

 

$1K seems a bit too much. I'd personally say $500.

I remember seeing someone buying one a while back on here. Not only is it rare/next to impossible to find one being sold etc but I think Jagex would be all over it, noticing the location change etc..

PMOD accounts can go for $1k at the upper end, personally I've seen a few above that. I've also seen one sold as low as $300 though. Since they're not traded very often the owners know they're valuable, but the price that they decide to sell as can vary. It also depends on the stats and such, a comp cape pmod is going to trade for significantly more.


Anyway, there are 2000 pmod accounts currently if anyone was curious.

 

I'd say $500 sounds about right. Around there. Depends on the stats etc tbh as well as being a Pmod. Low level account maybe a bit less.

 

I heard of one account that had a few J mod perks like unlimited membership and a few other things sold for $1500. But the user was trusted too.

Depending on perks, anywhere from $500-$1000+. Most important is the security of the trade and the seller.

 

Would would be classed as a safe way to transfer a player moderator account? Simply posting on the forums "Hey I am moving houses from point A to point B"

Always wondered how that works because I feel that since they can flag booted IP's I'm sure they have a system behind flagging when a player moderator is logged in by a different ip address.

 

depends on stats, just moderator status probably adds like $150-$300 to price.

 

Tell them you are moving, it would be best to provide full information, wait a couple of days then transfer the account. I would make sure that the person you're transferring to either uses a VPN or doesn't have an IP that regularly plays another account/a banned account.
