What will become of pures after Legacy?

Hey guys,

So i stopped playing runescape after EoC was begun and now that i hear legacy is coming i want to get back in.

Are you able to create a pure?

Will the new account creation tutorial affect pures?

What new weapons are available to pures after legacy mode? what requirements do they need?

Going to move this to RS3 general.

 

Legacy isn't a separate game like 07, it's mostly just some combat and interface changes.

You'll still be able to train an account to specific stats as the game doesn't force you to train any skills in the tutorial.

As for weapons, your guess is as good as anyone's, the requirements will revert back to per EoC runescape meaning a pure with one defence will be able to wear black d'hide chaps once again, as an example.

I hope this answers what I think you were asking, the legacy beta is out soon so if you want more details you're honestly better off getting involved.

I believe so. I think they are going to have rollback systems in place to reset stats. How this works exactly, I am not entirely sure.

 

I see also, what abotu the econemy? Like its easier to kill frosts in eoc than pre eoc so will the prices of frost bones go higher? is your bank going to be the same and is it going to be like a totally different world?

 

Why would anyone even make a pure in RS3?

 

Same exact game, there will be a toggle to turn Legacy on and off.

Wait, will legacy mode accounts have to be started from scratch? Or can you log into your current account and everything and your stats, quests etc will be transfered?

 

When does Legacy come out? If I wanted to train my account on RS3 can I train in Legacy right now?

 

It's on the same game as RS 3. So yes, same stats, no need to start from scratch. There will be a button to toggle Legacy on and off.

Beta starts tomorrow. Then voting will be put in place to see whether or not people think it's ready to enter the live game.

 

Pures will be the same, as they used to be.

 

They're bringing back 138 combat so I'm pretty sure this is true.
