I'm going to start off by saying I'm sorry for my and everyone else's role in this.

According to the stipulations above, I can tell you guys with 100% confidence that I did NOT post any pictures anywhere. I did not upload, or otherwise re-upload any pictures, or post them on sythe.org or any other website. I only linked it a few times in the chat. I remember avoiding posting any links, and made it a point to avoid posting the link because I thought that it wouldn't be the right thing to do. I recall being asked to post the link in private chats and in the group chat and I would refuse.

I do not recall adding anyone to the chat, because I didn't have many people added at the time. I am trying really hard to think, but I cannot think of any members. I am told that these chatlogs are in USL - that being said, hopefully you guys can help me out on determining this.

Regarding any other worries, yes I was admin of BA. I was banned and I pardoned - I can only assume that it was determined that I did not participate in blackhat activities, which is true. I was rightfully pardoned for this, and Richard said (in Sythechat) I shouldn't be banned for this. Also, it recently came to my attention that someone using my name followed Trin on Facebook. I have no reason to do this, and it was not me. I can prove this by whatever way you want.

That being said, I am in no way a threat to the community because I quite frankly don't trade on Sythe. I am also a helpful person, when I wasn't in the SF messing around, I would go into other sections and post a bit. If I saw a math homework question I thought was worth answering, I would answer it. In fact, I helped a Sythe member with one right now.

I've apologized for my part in this situation. I linked the images a few times. As far as the images go, I'm done with that. I won't dabble onto matters if I don't think it to be wise or productive.

I want this to be in Sythe.org staff's hands now. Knowing that my actions were mild, knowing I am not a threat, knowing that most of all I am sorry for the few times I linked the pictures and hoped this could be put behind us all. I have no interest in bumping any threads or going after n4n0 or Trin.

    -Alex

I personally believe people are simply assuming you were involved heavily due to your knowledge relative to blackhat, and your association with BA. However, that is not a crime, knowledge is not a crime; and as you said, you were pardoned for whatever you did before, so bringing up past actions isn't relative.

I'm curious though, did the people who upload everything and hack the emails come from BA, Alex? Even if so, it's not your fault. You shouldn't be banned by association/being an admin on that site, unless you encouraged it knowingly, or did nothing to stop it knowingly.

So, two questions for you. Were the people who did all that BA members? And did you know what they were doing prior to it happening?

Thanks for your response, Sellerman. I appreciate your points, and I mentioned it because I thought it was the reason my threads were getting deleted.

Were the people who did all that BA members?

Yes, it was a BA member who then gave the login information to another BA member. They told me that they were trying to get information on n4n0, and they somehow knew about Trin's e-mail thinking it was his backup e-mail. I have no idea how they found Trin's e-mail address in the first place.

And did you know what they were doing prior to it happening?

I had no knowledge of this - it was literally unfolding on the spot in real time. The attack was in no way planned.

    One more thing.

Once you knew what was happening, I.e, information being passed on to other BA members, did you try and stop it?

Unfortunately, it was way too late. They have programs so that all it takes is a few clicks and they will have every e-mail downloaded the other BA member(s?) were either getting a backup or checking another e-mail. I learned throughout BA that there is no stopping them. I told them that going further (spreading them beyond Sythe) would be too much, and they never took it off Sythe. Anything that is on BA regarding n4n0/Trin wasn't even done by the hackers. It's a complicated situation, but I know there's no way to stop something that happens in a split second. Most people on BA don't go that extra step, such as dropping untradeables on a RS account. I believe they only posted with two accounts, then Josh (BA owner) posted it (he had nothing to do with the hacking), then some banned Sythe members posted it.

I was also told that the people who forwarded the info to n4n0s friends/family weren't from BA. Also that Alex is no longer an Admin on BA.

From what we've been told, I'm inclined to support an unban.
