RFD Gloves - Defense Pure

So i'm in the process of creating a defense pure/skiller and was just curious as to what level rfd gloves I would be able to get without gaining any other combat stats.

It depends, are you keeping 1 attack - strength, and X defense?

 

1 EVERYTHING besides HP and def. Then obviously my skills

 

You could get black without any xp rewards but for mith you would get 28 strength.

 

Oh ok awesome, what sub quests would that be? (Yeah i'm too lazy to look it up and you seem to know )

Items Egg, bucket of milk, pot of floor

Fishing Contest
Items 5-10 coins, Garlic , a regular fishing rod, a spade.
You need 10fishing

Goblin Diplomacy
Items 3 Brown Goblin mails, Blue dye, red dye, yellow dye and 35 gp.

Edit: I may be wrong about black - steel may be the highest. IF you get leather gloves from starting the quest, you'll make it to black. IF you don't get leather gloves for starting RFD then you'll get to steel. IF you don't make it to black, you would have to do Big Chompy which requires 30 range.

 

Just use a combat brace, they're not far off the same stats as mith gloves.

This is true, but the cost different between the combat brace and gloves can really add up in the long run if you PK a lot.
