That is a nice line of motherboards, and both the cpu and ram are compatible. the 4770k is a beastly chip.

I exited out before I saw the ram price, but make sure you shop around they always have good discounts and coupons and stuff on RAM.

    Go for it!

Been reading up on the RM series and a lot of people say stay away from it. Apparently they use terrible capacitors any other suggestions?

The two that I know: EVGA SuperNova series (my current PSU) and the Be Quiet! series Dark Power Pro 10 (However, this one is only semi-modular). I personally go for ultra silent and the SuperNova hits that sweet spot for me. Fan is only on when it needs to be, which is rarely ever.

They have a 1000W P2, which is what your current PSU's wattage is - with a better power rating to it: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOV...f=sr_1_42?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1402740321&sr=1-42 or the 1300W G2 which I personally think is a little overkill. http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOV...f=sr_1_17?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1402740398&sr=1-17

Hey bud, if you go here http://pcpartpicker.com/

You can put together all your stuff and it has a compatibility mode which basically tells you if everything will go together.

I personally, wouldn't recommend the i7, it's a tad overpriced, and uses hyper-threading, which is basically only useful if you plan on rendering a lot of videos.

And for the ram, I think 16 GB is overkill, plus the one you picked out is hella expensive compared to other. I'd recommend 8 for now and upgrade later if you think you really need it.. Which you won't.

What is the rest of your build that you could POSSIBLY need a 1kw psu for? Lets get realistic here. Unless you're running some crazy gpu combo, take the extra coin and invest it into a platinum+modular psu around 750w or so.
