Richard gave n4n0 permission to veto it apparently. I don't see the problem here, it's ultimately Richard's site after all.

Good on you, even though I know where you personally stand on the issue (from last pardon) you are pushing to let him have his day in court. I dont always agree with you or your methods but you are a great staff member none the less.

I agree OP, the way this has been handled is a damn joke.

 

The veto guidelines should be officially updated then, everyone else (staff included) is in the dark about it.

From what I've read, Richard specifically stated that it is n4n0's call since this incident directly involved him and his personal life.

 

Sitting and doing nothing isn't gonna solve it either, and if alot of people disagree with purely with the way this is being handled, things might change. No matter what situation, no matter what rank you have.

 

Wasn't he banned for singling out n4n0 + Trin and cyber harrassing them to no ends? People like him shouldn't be allowed back if that's the case, it's almost as bad as scamming.

And seeing as the harassment + banning only ever involved Ryan (Trin isn't staff) the decision should be Ryan's and his alone.

 

Exactly my point. Though I disagree with the ruling and think hattez should be given a 2nd chance, it's not our decision to make. We were not personally affected by this incident, whereas n4n0 was.

 

How is harassing someone almost the same as scamming?

This is going to take the active members of the site stepping up and trying to do something about these sort of things for shit to get done. It may be Richard's site but he barely active and has given reins to a bunch of half-witted man-babies who mix their personal relationships into what is supposed to be a minimal bias position. Yes, it is a voluntary position, but you're held to a higher standard than just an average member of this community. Respect and staff approval is the LOWEST it has ever been I am sure, and it is getting to the point where I think Finn could run this site better. Then we wonder why this site has gone to hell. It has been slowly been run into the ground through mismanagement. It's the same way a lot of business go.

 

As firez and Roary said we are getting to the bottom of this behind the scenes. Seems like we were all on different pages about this but we are coming together rather nicely

 

How is this only up to ryan, surely ryan takes this way too personal and doesn't give two flying pigs about hattez. Hattez has no chances left, now this isn't fair. No matter what's been done. It was never meant to be a perm either.

 

If it was up to me I'd leave it at least 1+ year.

Being on the receiving end of bullying is not fun, online or not. I'm sure you've heard stories of people who have committed suicide over being bulled in school, it can really affect some people in a massively negative way.

 

I don't think I've ever heard too many stories of adults commiting but not the point, cyberbullying isn't against the rules and most of the trolling was done in the spam forum which you will only get 'bullied' if you post there in the first place... Scamming someone is taking someone's posessions. Two completely different things

 

I also presume that Nano isn't an insecure teenage girl, you'd assume he could handle this professionaly after all these years and as sythe admin.
I understand it can affect people massivly, but you'd think nano would've calmed down by now no? It was spam forum aswell, SPAM FORUM.

 

You're also forgetting that none of this would have become a thing if it hadn't been for N4N0 power abusing to give Trin perks she never worked for. The pictures came as a shaming feat and retaliation, was it wrong? Of course, but no hands come to this situation clean. Also, I don't even remember Hattez being part of the chat with the pictures. He just posted information that was available freely on the internet.
