Ralph Lauren - Polo Green vs. Polo Black -

So I'm going to order one of these and I've been told that back in the day (like .. the 80s') that Green was the best scent in existence.

However, since it is aged I don't know how well it would work for people around my age.

Polo Black has absolutely amazing reviews and says girls fall in love with the scent almost instantly.

I'm going to go with one or the other so if anyone has any personal association with the two please share!

ALSO, can anyone tell me what the hell the difference between the "4.2 oz" and "4.2 Ounce" on this Amazon page is? There is a price difference and one is covered by Amazon Prime but it is cheaper so I'd like to know why:

I don't know what those smell like but my sisters boyfriend got me one as a gift and literally every girl who has gotten near me or hugged me has been like holy balls you smell amazing

$66 for less than one ounce is kind of insane haha. I'm not going for instant orgasm level scent, just something that smells solid and isn't counterfeit

I came to the conclusion that ordering any perfume from non-name brand retailers or the brand retailer is just a bad idea so I'm probably going to order some Polo Blue. $63 for 2.5oz or $76 for 4.2oz.

 

On the real all polo scents regardless that I've owned have gotten women wet. no joke.

At work all the girls have commented on it and even a few random chicks when I'm out at the mall or something have said something. Not only that but when I do wear the polo (I don't all the time maybe once a week) My girlfriend will come up to my chest and smell me and tell me how good I always smell.

It's expensive but worth it, Don't use it all the time or it looses its touch a bit.

 

I have polo black...and it does smell absolutely phenomenal! I get compliments on it every now and again from random girls I work with. One of my friends though every time I see her she smashes her face into my chest to smell me lmao...


I accidentally gave myself an upper respiratory infection from it though...poor timing on the spray and I took most of the shit into my lungs haha!...derp -.-

 

Haha, I think I'm going to go with the 4.2oz of Polo Blue for $78. I hear rave reviews about both Blue and Black but a large majority of reviews for Black say "it smells amazing but it doesn't last long at all," whereas the Blue smells amazing and lasts usually 2-3 hours longer than Black apparently.

Edit: Getting it from Macy's so it is 100% authentic, not about to pay $50 for 4.2oz on Ebay or something and have it be a watered down terrible formula.

 

Just get Hugo Boss. You'll win.

Alright.

I can say with 100% certainty that the type of Polo will not matter to at least 98% of women. Nor have I ever been with a man who could differentiate between them, let alone have a preference. I think the different varieties are mainly so that men think they have a choice, given that all variations have the same base formula.

Men, if your lady (or gentleman) buys you Polo, they're not really buying it for you! (well maybe a little for you )

I hate cologne. I am actually a bit repelled by it, as are many other women I know in varying degrees.

But we have a universal and I do mean UNIVERSAL opinion about Polo. I have never had anything physically attract me to a man more than Polo. I am having a physical reaction thinking about my reactions to it in the past.

The attraction is not a 'sex' thing, so there's no worry that you'll be getting unwanted attention in that sense. In fact, I plan to buy some for my brother so it is more about loving the scent. However, a guy wearing Polo has a much greater chance of....um...achieving such a relationship than a guy without (as I've seen).

Basically, if you're a guy who wants to guarantee attention from ladies (or gentlemen). Buy Polo.


Oh! Also. Seeing that Polo is very expensive-

There is a company called Perfect Scents that makes an exact replica of Polo Black for a much reasonable price. I see the price range go from $5-$10 depending on the retailer, but don't quote me on that. I was in CVS yesterday and I can attest it is so close to the brand name I couldn't tell the difference. (hope that helps if you're interested and don't want to spend a fortune)

I had polo orange and red which were both good. Not tried black or green yet.

 

Blue has and always will be my favorite, red is my 2nd favorite.

Go for Polo Black. It's the best by far.

 

All color polo is great, personally black is only good with black shoes, debatable though.
