Jordan for now. He will always be a legend in NBA. Lebron? He's remarkable but he's still blooming. Let's give him time first.

On topic last night was why Lebron will never be as good as Jordan.

you dont know how he feel , i play soccer a lot and soemtimes my legs cramp and it is impossible to do anyhing and that is from my family they also get leg cramps . it also makes my foot almost twitch and i stand on my heel it doesnt happen often , but it does. you know nothing .

Really? I know plenty about baseketball. Jordan played through a flu with a 103 fever. Kobe shot free throws on a torn tenant and walked off. Larry bird played through as well. You like how no one else has issues but Lebron. He prepared so well he didn't even hydrate good enough. Also remember when he faked his "elbow" injury with the Cavs.

 

Isaiah Thomas played with a broken foot, just saying.

 

Exactly my point Lebron can't take any pain. Kobe has played with so many injuries he shouldn't have. Proves why Lebron isn't a great yet he proved it even more so last night in a two point game.

 

I was more shocked at the fact it was Lebron that "had to take the hit" as he said.

I wasn't trying to bash him in the NBA playoffs thread.

There are just too many blind Lebron lovers in general. And too many blind haters of him as well.

Personally, I am meh toward him. I myself was shocked it happened to him of all people. I do believe cramps probably kill, but I was still shocked.

 

People play through cramps though. Yeah it sucks and it hurts but the cramps he gets are no different then the cramps we get and they're able to play through and yeah they suck but in the NBA finals suck it up.

 

All of the backlash Lebron James has gotten over the cramps is so ridiculous. Anyone who has played sports above a rec league level knows cramps aren't to be messed with. Playing through them probably would've hurt the heat more than helped. I just wish that people were being more mature about this because uou don't push through cramping in game 1, because if your muscle cramps and then you put strain on it (by, say, landing even a bit awkwardly) you could easy tear or severely strain a muscle. Sure, if it's a series clinching game you can justify attempting to go Isiah on everyone's ass. However, that is not really justifiable in game 1.

 

There are a lot of people that hate Lebron James, for whatever reason, so his backlash will just continue to grow. Conversely, there are always people that will defend Lebron no matter what. It's just the way sports fans are.

The only mistake I'll admit I made is equating Jordan's flu game to Lebron's cramps. Two totally different problems. I will eat my crow on that and say I was rash and wrong in saying it.

But the Lebron backlash is not going to stop. There are people that want Lebron to lose more than they even want their own teams to win. Why this is, I don't know. Perhaps things like the "Decision" and stuff like that.

Then you'll have the real conspiracy theorists saying he is on steroids and use reasons such as "odd muscular structure, hair loss, jaw growth, lack of potassium leading to cramps"...etc. etc. Whatever they can come up with.

 

You obviously have never experienced a muscle cramp to the magnitude in competitive sports. It makes me so mad when people bash him saying 'oh he had a cramp...p***y." Do you not realize it is near impossible to compete with something like a muscle not allowing any functionality? Muscles are the main thing in sports that allows you to do things! LeBron's game play is meant to be played in 90 degree weather. He exerts everything he has and that's why he cramps.

Stuff like this makes me mad. It's really not hard to continue playing with broken bones and stuff like that. I had a fractured foot and played all football season. I had a torn labrum and I could still throw a baseball and pitch. When I would get a cramp, I couldn't do much of anything. Cramps are a whole different injury.

My Thomas comment was in response to Lorenzo listing players playing with injuries, not Lebron's cramps.

 

I've played football with fractured foot for a whole season. Some breaks you can play with. Obviously wasn't a too serious one if he could continue.

 

Bottomline Lebron will be back and the hate will just fuel him. It will now be up to the Spurs to contain that aggression.

It only makes me more excited for the rest of the series.

I doubt the Spurs turn it over so badly the rest of the series, and I expect Lebron's output to increase.

It will be good. It could even be bloody. I expect ANOTHER 7 game series.

I don't think so. If it's hot in the arena he will cramp up again. I have played sports I actually played basketball and football in highschool. Cramps are preventable but lebron has faked injuries before and I think with so much on the line he should have played through. I watched big ben (Steelers) play through way worse injuries then cramping from body parts you need you know like your hand when you're throwing the ball or his leg or foot i don't remember which. Lebron should've played.

 

Also I shouldn't have compared the flu of MJ ether because one is a sickness one isn't. But as for Isisah he did play with a broken foot. Look I don't hate lebron. He is a good player. He just isn't what MJ is or was if you'd prefer that.

but honestly because of the age difference and how we will never see them go against each other at their peaks, its kinda hard to determine

 

You just don't understand do you...cramps are something you can't just push through. Cramps literally don't allow you to move muscles in ways that they normally should move. Totally different injury than most injuries.
