Need advice -- Making money on an old account

I have high CB stats (relatively low range)
About 5M cash
No "notable/useable" items.
Some decently high skill stats, just not fishing farming herblore or hunter.

Any idea how I can make some cash in EoC? Preferably something I can bot with little risk. I don't need fast money, just steady money. Haven't actually tried to do anything with an account besides questing in quite some time

 

Anything to do with botting on RS3 is high risk. In all honesty, grinding rune running atm would be one of the better ways to make cash while training a skill.

However, there's always tanning dragon hides and with resizable maps it's pretty much a 3 click thing

 

I couldn't care less about XP, only looking at money. Tanning dragon hides is really the best money making method nowadays..? As a long-time player that is depressing, especially with all the updates.

Botting is really that high risk?

 

Oh there's quite a lot of ways to make money just rune running and d hide tanning popped into my mind first and without PvM. Vorago, Rise of the Six, Nex and Kalphite King are the best money makers in the game atm but they're all high level monsters.

Jagex have really stepped up their bot detection in the last year. I started a new account to test how long it would take them to detect me botting. Took just under 9 minutes to perm ban. It's not worth it to bot anymore.

 

I have melee combat stats in the 87+ range and 95 mage. But with only about 5M of startup money can I do anything profitable in PvM?

 

Well I would do Bandos or Zamorak GWD with mage at 95+ mage. Buy full Ganodermic Armour with a Polypore Staff (try and get a god cape too) should be about 3m and then use the rest on supplies.

I would buy about 10 of the best BoB familiar you can summon, 20 Super Magic and Defence Potions, and about 300-500 sharks. Buy runes for Teleport to Trollheim or Rock Climbing Boots (if you haven't done the quest). Also buy an emergency teleport like a Varrack Teleport Tablet.

Pretty much keep repeating that until you get a drop.

 

What drops can I expect? Can you give me a estimate on how much profit I can make in what amount of time? Or is this method all luck?

 

Any other opinions on what I could do? I looked into the GWD method and it seems that it relies heavily on good drops from Zamorak himself; I'm looking for guaranteed steady income.

 

Why not go with the old classical killing Green Dragons in the wild? Literally nobody there anymore because of bots being all but destroyed.

It may be an old school way of making cash, but it's still a solid 800k-1.3M an hour from my experience with it. You could easily double/triple your cash stack and then move onto bigger and better things when you get the gear.

IF you got the range brandish the rcbow and then just qbd from there, expect 3m/h with rcbow and 4-5m with dual dygores as you save up

 

I'm currently botting about 120M/day. Certain bots out there get the hammer within minutes, and some bots are still undetectable. By undetectable, I don't mean you will never be banned, I mean RS doesn't detect that you are using another client. Simba/SRL is great for this. I used to lose accounts weekly, even with Simba, but I've since figured out Jagex's ban procedure, and haven't lost an account in over 2 months, and I'm still botting about 20hrs a day.

I'm running 8-10 accounts at any given time, so don't assume you're going to bot your main and be instantly swimming in gold, but I'm not doing anything anyone else can't do.

 

I'll be honest, I haven't really played in quite some time. Though, Slayer is always excellent means of making cash, even if the "rare" drops are very cheap nowadays. It can be tedious, but if you make the effort to pick up herbs, seeds, notables etc it all builds up after time. You also get plenty of clue scrolls which can give you a little break now and then.

There aren't many slayer drops that will increase your bank wealth drastically in 1 drop, however.. it should be a constant flow of money.
