Most cost effective computers for botting

What are the most cost effective computers for botting in terms of account per total cost?
For example a $2700 computer build might run 25 bots but it isn't as cost effective as a $1100 computer that can run 12 bots.

 

Best way to go around doing this might be to Google around for 'cost per performance' or something like that of CPUs and go by that.
I'm pretty sure there should be some sites which do research like that.

This thread might even fit better in the tech section actually.

I wouldn't bother investing in botting.
It's so easy to get banned.

 

Simple answer, dont ban, Think of it like this, if 1 of the account gets banned the rest will also if you share the same IP. If you're on same PC I dont think you can change the IP of each browser/client

 

If done right, gold farming can still be done profitably, but yes I agree, unless you have a game plan and are a skilled/avid botter, right now isn't the best time to get into unless you know what you're doing.

Actually you can. Many options, proxies, VPS, VPN, etc. some bots even have built in proxy funcionality.
Some people even farm on the same IP with all of their accounts effectively.

 

Consider getting a vps, the investment is much lower and you can see how it works out before you put in a lot of money.
