Trent, what is your affiliation with RiD?

 

Hopefully not, there's Power Bot, which is a guaranteed ban, and supposedly Tri-Bot has RS3 scripts, which I haven't read post regarding them. I'll allow Trent to specify his affiliation, but as far as RS3 goes, there's next to nothing.

Been very impressed with the quality of RiD's programming in the past.
I sure hope this project will be worth the wait, sadly I won't be buying an unlimited subscription though.

I was also wondering, how did RiD learn his programming? Did he follow it in college or something? I'm curious about his skills.

This looks incredible. May bring me back to botting on Runescape if it's truly as incredible as described.

 

From my understanding, RiD obtained his bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics in the UK. Guesstimating based off of when he interviewed with Jagex (~about just before Varrock was redesigned) and his start in developing bots (2007), I'd say he's probably in his late 20s or early 30s. He works as a programmer professionally (I believe).

 

He used to work as a programmer professionally, but at some point he stated in the chatbox that he's now working on Genesis full time.

 

Wow, I bet that must be a cool job to be honest.
So the project is paying for all his costs then?

 

This looks good and I can't wait to try it out soon.

The most recent info in the OP is the most recent update we have. Mid/late July is the current ETA.

 

I'm interested, is it just going to be RS3 or OSRS aswell?
