NCAA College Football 2014-2015 Thread

I'm interested to see how this goes this upcoming season.

Rather than doing the BCS #1 vs. #2 , they're gonna have a 4 man playoff system.

#1. What do you think about this?

#2. What 4 teams do you think will be playing in this?

I love this since it gives the top 4 teams a great chance to show who's the best. It'll allow teams that 'slip up' at the last game to have another chance to prove they're the best team in CFB.

My 4 teams are Oregon, Florida State, Auburn, and Alabama.

 

It's about damn time. Would have liked to see it last year because I wanted to see Michigan State's defense versus Jameis Winston.

Finally now we will get a better indication of who the best team truly is. I still think Bama was probably the best last yr. They clearly didn't care vs Oklahoma and the Auburn game was a miraculous loss.

 

Agreed. Bama did get outplayed by Trevor Knight of Oklahoma. He's going to be something special this year I think. A little bit of a downed version of Manziel.

 

I think those Bowls were sort of a joke when it comes to schools like Bama. Every year they're thinking Title game or bust. It's pretty much like Ohio State losing their bowl game as well.

These teams go for the Title game....while the other BCS bowls are prestigious for most schools, schools like Bama, Ohio St, etc. are only concerned with being National Champions.

I'm thrilled that, finally, it's expanded to 4 teams battling for it.

 

I'm a big Ohio State fan so it was detrimental to see all that transpired against Clemson.

 

I felt pretty bad for Ole Urban. Just a terrible end to quite a fantastic run they had over two years.

I did think Michigan State was the better team though, wasn't surprised they beat them in the Big Ten championship.

I rather would have seen MSU than Auburn getting a crack at FSU.

MSU didn't have an established QB when they lost early in the year to ND (the refs were also a freaking joke in that game).

I really wanted to see Winston's masterful offense versus Narduzzi's lethal "no fly zone" D.

 

I still think FSU would've beaten MSU due to MSU's lack luster QB play.

 

I have to agree, though the defense certainly would have kept State in it.

I'm just glad it's best of 4 teams now..so happy.

I hope it continues to expand and eventually the bowls are pretty much obsolete.

 

It'll be interesting with this first year. It'll bring out the flaws that's for sure.
