Where does our money go towards donating to sythe?

So the people that are accepting donations for Sythe, what do they do with the money?

 

They send it on to Sythe... obviously.

 

Forwarded to Sythe. They don't keep it.

 

If its forwarded to sythe, why don't we send money directly to sythe rather than have two members on sythe that handles all the donations?

 

Because Sythe wouldn't be able to process donations for RSGP and so on. Hense why bond holders came around to offer alternatives to direct PP.

 

Roary, do bond holders purchase the bonds from sythe directly for a lower cost to keep some profits? I've always been interested, just didn't want to seem stupid for asking

 

They pay the price of the rank. 5$ is 5$ and so on. But they're allowed to charge slightly more like 6$ in RSGP for 5$ and so on to take a profit.

You'll have to be around a lot longer to be a bond holder though.

 

Oh, i'm not wanting to become a bond holder, i was just curious behind the business of things.

They're sending it to Sythe, Sythe himself doesnt have time to proceed payments in other payment methods such as RSGP , WU etc. Only PayPal is automated I think.

 

Bogdan only been around here since 2010 and this guy is like hey I received over $710 donations, trust me instead of the other donator!

I would donate but having to pay more than what I'm donating is not right. $5 donator rank for $8 dollars? really?

to donate $300= $350? wow such high fees

You know? make a cash deposit to someone's bank account? That's one way to receive donations without having to worry about charge backs, fee's.

 

Because it's a service and takes time like any other service. It's only an alternative payment method, not like it's the only one to choose from

There were BT options but those bond holders stopped processing donations through either inactivity or being banned, which is why Matthew is wary of making many more people bond holders, so there isn't the range of options there once was.

 

To become a bond holder, don't you have to pay upfront before accepting donations?

 

Yes you can pay as much as you like as far as I know. But doesn't stop it being chargedback and so on.

Don't ever make false accusations, it only makes you look bad.


2nd, the reason the prices are a bit higher are to cover PA fees, etc.

Was it really necessary to include something in your donation thread of how much money you have donated to Sythe or how much money in donations you received from other people? I'm even shocked that you had to put [OFFICAL] but you can do whatever you want. If you look at moe's thread, he doesn't even put [OFFICAL].

Why do you want to tell people how much money you've handled? To make them feel that they should trust you and to get MORE people to donate to you? I don't know but this is just ridiculous. I looked at Moe's donation page and it just looks way so professional and clean. You and Moe are just two different people. Moe is also offering cheaper rates than you which makes me think that are you making profit off these donations?

Well anyways, Roary you can close this thread clearly because I got Bogdan involved in this thread which will lead to being an off topic, flaming, argument conversation. The only way to stop charge backs is to accept moneypak, cash, or bank transfers in my opinion. I can't even make a donation to sythe because I have to pay a fee. I never pay a fee. Never. I donate to twitch.tv streamers and they don't charge fees because its through Paypal. twitch.tv streamers make a lot of money through donations from anonymous donators yet they don't have to go through PA to accept the money.

 

It's a small fee that probably wont affect your life
