Your Favorite All-Time Characters in Video Games?

Hey guys, interested to hear your list of favorite characters in video games EVER.

I'll start it off, one of my favorite characters of all time is Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7 and other games.



Why do I like him so much? Well, from his whacky hairdo to his stoic attitude, I simply love this guy. He cares, deep down, about people...but he will not always show it. Sometimes he is downright callous and comes off as unforgiving and without emotion. But...deep down...he cares. And I could be described as much the same. Plus...have you seen the Buster Sword? Yeah, it's badass.

Conversely, then, and naturally I suppose...my favorite villain of all time is also from Final Fantasy 7...Sephiroth.



Aside from Sephiroth being the perfect mirror to Cloud, just a juxtaposed evil version of him, I love everything about his character. He was truly the "perfect villain". I remember being ten years old and terrified of the final boss fight with him..still to this day the most intense feeling I've ever gotten out of video games. I just thought he was a great villain, with a great backstory and just an overall badass.




Frank West from Dead Rising is another of my favorites. Final Fantasy 7 always felt somber and serious, so to round out just a goofy and witty character I pick Frank West. There's a zombie outbreak going on, but that doesn't stop him from being a sarcastic and snide son of a bitch.



Lastly, Tails rounds out my favorite characters. He is, of course, from the Sonic and Hedgehog games. He is my favorite because he was always just sort of the "other" character. The sidekick to Sonic that when he wasn't being overshadowed by him, was being overshadowed by Knuckles or some other character. This is more of a nostalgic pick for me, because my brother would always make me be Tails. Which was fine with me, I love Tails!

Master Chief is my one and only true love.. :love:

 

Deathwing.
Not only is he the most bad ass character in the game, his raid is probably one of the funniest (in my eyes) and such a great designed raid.



His attitude is downright badass, and he isn't afraid to throw a few insults in there, I remember a quest line where he actually called me a pathetic whelp, I was like WOAH what.
This boss/character does NOT mess around.

Niko from GTA 4.

Ghost from mw2. Or possibly Irish from bf4.

Trevor from GTAV always cracked me up. A lot of personality for some pixels.

 

Samus and Fox from Super Smash Bros on N64.

Crash Bandicoot from all the CTR games on PS1.

Hiyachi from Tekken OG versions.

Most of my favourite characters are from ps1/n64 era when I was alot younger. I never play console games anymore, and haven't enjoyed anything that much on a console since back then. The only console game I play now would be Fifa and that also, maybe once every 6-7 months lol.

I think he's the only one in a good few years who I've remembered for being a geezer to be honest. The rest blend in with.. the rest.

Also Clementine from Walking Dead. Fucking loved that game.
