F2P in 07

So far, seems to be drawing in a decent crowd. 17.3k players on 07 as I type this.

Wonder if it will continue to grow or people will get bored immediately and leave.

What do you guys think?

A consistent 17,000 number would be pretty awesome. Even 15k+ would be pretty good.

 

Yeah. The sad thing is I don't want to create a new account to play as f2p, I just hate email logins... I think the players will stay at 15k~

 

Agreed that is so stupid, an account that has never logged into 07 before should be eligible.

 

A brief infatuation I would guesstimate. The novelty will wear off I'd imagine, like with most things.

 

Agreed, I wonder though what Jagex is looking for numbers wise to make F2P a permanent fixture. If it becomes permanent I can see at least a couple thousand sticking around. At this point any growth is good.

I have no idea why anyone gives a shit about having 07 F2p. NO ONE PLAYS F2P. Why? F2p is just a trial version of the game - 90% of the game's content is members only, and 99% of new content is members only. Only 4k of the 55k people online atm are F2p, that's less than 10%.

I would love free to play 07, goldfarming would be lot easier cause you dont need to buy bond every few days due getting banned...

 

I dislike how you have to create a new account to play. If they don't change this and make f2p permanent, there won't be significant change.

 

I personally think they should remove some P2P worlds so they afford to have F2P forever, not just 2 weeks trials which is kinda lame.

But yea, if they removed P2P worlds, it would cost them much less to keep the game running and they could possibly add F2P permanently. That's my opinion.

 

No, i was able to log into the f2p worlds on several previously created 07 accounts.
