Second attempt of a signature

This one I spent a little more time researching on brushes and some of that fun stuff. My last signature wasn't liked very much - is this any improvements? I will show my first just for comparison.



I personally think this the new one is miles better. I put some general thought into it - it is nicely colour coded to the Arsenal colours, I done some research and found one of the closest texts to the Arsenal text. I obviously still need to practise - a lot, but I personally think the improvement from the first to second proves I am on the right track. Any tips? Any types of effects I should learn?

 

It looks better, but it's still messy. Brushes should have purpose in art.

 

Care to elaborate? The brushes in the corner were used to emphasis the colours of the Arsenal badge / colour coded the signature. The white splash across was more less for effect as it was too plain with out it. Any suggestions as what I could do to clean it up?

quite messy, and there isn't enough of the picture on the inside, if you know what i mean, maybe change the font
