Working on Something, Anybody Interested

Basically, I'm working on something I feel most people would have. I just try to make things better, easier, and more efficient.

I'm setting up a spreadsheet template that would make managing multiple accounts (currently directed towards Runescape) easier and more efficient.

There are a lot of revisions that I plan to make, but currently there are 35 columns, login name, password, character name, recovery email, creation date, member y/n, combat level, total level, and all skills (including invention.)

Further ideas are to do things like set formulas that will calculate combat level for you (highest of Attack, Strength, Magic, Ranged or Summoning plus Defense plus two) based off your inputs. There are things I hope to look into like data-migration from RS hiscores. I'm trying to decide if it would be best to have this on one tab or multiple.

I don't think anybody really needs this to be a thing.
We already can use online calculators for Runescape, and anybody can setup a spreadsheet, customized to their own needs.

 

Doesn't need to be a thing as he said, but it still would be useful.
I know i'd use it if it helped me out calcing cb level etc.

 

I'm going to continue developing for my own resources.
The main reason I feel that it is nice to have is that it allows you to keep everything in one place.
It started off as a means for me to keep track of which passwords go with which accounts. As I continued working on it I began to expand.

 

If this was a secure web application I'd be more inclined to use it rather than a simple spreadsheet that I could make on my own. That brings up a whole host of security issues however so I understand why that can't necessarily work.

 

A simple spreadsheet that you could make on your own is exactly what it is at the moment. The beauty of it though? You don't need to do it yourself.
I'm just asking what people would like included as I'm making it.

If you think it would be of more interest as a secure web application, I'm not against working to develop that. I am decent with Java and have actually been looking in to OWASP.

 

Tough to earn trust if your going to set something up. Wouldn't risk putting my login name/ password on any application downloaded online, other than orion or rs' official client.

If your going to involve java, there is a high risk for the users being hacked.

Iunno i am a zybez/tip it user i don't really think this will be useful.

i would just use a notepad doc for each acc and not have any worries about security and so on
