PDC new skill

I would say Artisans, as its some sort of ' slayer version for skilling / non combat skills '

 

Agrred if anything artisan's would be best

Definitely agree with that. I'm hoping this is just all for show. Adding a new skill defeats the purpose of Old School.

 

Artisan is a categorical term. Making it an actual skill would be stupid based on it's meaning.

I think the extremely negative input from everywhere is a little silly. The game is called "Old School" instead of "2007" partially because it's meant to be its own game, which will naturally grow and develop with updates and new content. It's a new version of the old RuneScape.

That said, I liked Astronomy best, but I wasn't a huge fan of any of the skills. I'd probably sooner not see any of them implemented, but I won't be too bothered if Artisan ends up in the game, either. Like BGlave/Ghast is saying, though, the name "Artisan" doesn't fit in with how skills are named. It'd have to be "Artisanship."

 

Summoning made a lot of things very unbalanced - key one that 07 people would be interested in was deep wilderness PvP. You could tank two back to back teleblocks if you even only had a tortoise.

IMO, they don't need a new skill, and the fact that Jagex is even considering it is just mindblowing.

 

Unbalanced, how so? There is a difference between it being helpful and unbalanced.

 

I understand where they're coming from. Runescape as a game is dying.

Between the amount of MMO's out and yet to come out this year, Jagex can not keep up nor compete with the intelligence these companies are bringing on their team to make the best game for the consumer.

They're trying a bit hard to make Runescape a game similar to Wildstar or Archeage or even Elder Scrolls Online.

@the summoning made things unbalanced - I completely disagree. If anything, it made the game more interesting.

 

Artisan is chosen and its basically slayer but with skills, i do not like the concept.

Do they even have enough of a team to make a skill that has some depth to it?

 

I'm sure they wouldn't take on something they couldn't handle....

 

It's not even going to pass the vote so speculation is pointless.

I really doubt it's going to get 75 percent approval.
