    MSI GE40-i7 2PC Dragon Eyes
    So I've settled on the MSI GE40-i7 2PC Dragon Eyes gaming laptop.
    These are the specs:
    i7-4702MQ (2.2GHz) Core
    14 inch display (1920x1080 supported)
    8GB ram
    Geforce850M

    I was wondering if a ram upgrade to 16gb will help me out in any way?

    Thing's heavier than a xenon xbox 360 and costs an extra $500 in my country :/
    I've got a decent computer at home, so I'll stick to my current option

    Unnecessary upgrade. Don't bother, trust me. And yes, while the gt70 is superior in every way...its a huge monstrosity which isn't for everyone. The ge series is fantastic, I had a ge70 when they first introduced the ge lineup....it was a great laptop then...could only be better now.
