New Runescape 2007 scam! - Teamviewer!

"TokHaar Nan" tried to get me onto teamviewer, so that he could see my bank and trust me enough to do a firecape for him... for 5m.!?
When I declined, he whinged and decided to go around saying I scammed him...
I recorded it all and told him that, and asked for his Youtube channel to see his side and he logged out...
Idiot.
BE CAREFUL!

 

TeamViewer and other remote control software has been around for ages.
Anyone using it should know how it works and what can possibly happen before using the software.

I'm sure many people know how TV works, and that it allows a 3rd party to control your computer .

You should file a scam report against him and try to get him banned, or at least a trade with caution.

Don't DL random things, don't click random links, check the URL before ever entering your RS info, don't believe fishy emails from Jagex etc. just some basic tips.

 

It's common sense that you shouldn't allow someone to access your computer through teamviewer just as much as you shouldn't give him your password to check your bank.

 

I normally ask for peoples password and their social security and at least 3 credit card numbers and pins before I buy fire capes. It's dangerous to just buy fire capes without knowing any of their personal info
