    I've recently been scammed after trying to purchase a Runescape account. My Paypal is verified from 2003 and his was also verified and was made a month old. I filed a dispute as of now, and will eventually escalate it into a claim. But I'm not sure what result I will get since this is a virtual item? does anyone here have any experience with this sort of thing?

    did you have him leave you a note that he was paying for an already received item?

    edit: my bad didnt realize it was you who payed with pp. just follow up with dispute and if he did recover then you'll have the right to charge back

    If you paid as goods, your best bet is to chargeback as if you didn't receive any physical item.
