NBA Draft 2014

So, it's that time of year again, the lottery was yesterday and the Cavs somehow won the first pick of the draft again, despite only having a 1.8 percent chance of doing so.

Who do you want your favorite team to pick (and who is your favorite team?)

I don't really have a favorite NBA team but I do love following it. I am a Sixers fan, if anything, and would like to see Jabari Parker fall to the 3 spot so they can get him, and with the 10th pick get someone like Rodney Hood or Eric Gordon. I do not want them to get Doug Mcdermott, I think he will be a bust.

I could also see Joel Embiid being the next Bynum/Oden..he's already having health problems.

 

I personally think Doug will actually be a good player. If he ends up in the right system he is able to spread the floor and can knock down shots.

 

I question, though, how good of a defender he will be in the NBA.

 

It will depend on who he ends up playing for. For example if he played for the Bulls Tom Thibs would teach him how to play defense. If he ended up playing for pheonix he wouldn't need it anyway.

 

Bulls your favorite team? If not, who is, and who do you want them to draft?

Also, do you think all of these Cavs number one picks is a pre-cursor to Lebron returning one day?

 

I am a fan of a few teams actually I like Parker the best. I could see Lebron coming back to Cleveland especially after another number #1 pick going there if they're able to draft correctly.

 

I myself am a Cavs fan and it was 1.7%.
I would like to see them either pick Wiggins, or get a trade for an established star like KLove

 

I wouldn't want K love if I was cleveland because I don't think he would resign there. So you give up a first rounder for a years rent.. Not worth it.

 

I'm not sure how good Kevin Love really is. He's a great player, but you have to figure his stats are inflated heavily on that abysmal Timberwolves team, I'd be really interested to see how he played on a contender.

 

Hopefully cleveland take jabari parker.

I was wrong. Turns out the Sixers got him. He fell because he is already having injury problems - both back and foot problems.

Bumping this thread because the draft was last night.

Are you happy with your teams decisions? Do you think Joel Embiid will be good or the next Greg Oden (aka a bust mainly because he cant ever stay healthy)?

Who do you think will be the best out of the draft class?

As far as me, I'm very concerned about Embiid. I think Wiggins will be the best player in the draft, he could be the next LBJ.

The raptors GM has and his decisions are fucking amazing re-sign Lowry get rid of Novak, Salmons, And Fields...

The only thing i'm confused on is his 20th selection in the draft this man is taking a fucking gamble but fuck expect Raptors to get another Division title 2014-15 season.

 

Jabari Parker should've been 1st pick. That kid is NBA ready and is going to be a stud when he develops. Reminds me of Melo.
