Popular Games Nowadayz......

Sooooo.... my thoughts are the games of our childhood like Runescape are dying. I'm really not sure about LoL and WoW (someone can chime in on this) and their status and how currency for those games are doing

I'm wondering what most middle school-early highschool kids are spending all their time on (lol i feel so old saying this). Are there any MMORPGs that they play that could involve currency that could be bought and sold?

Any ideas on communities that are growing rather than dying? Stuff like Runescape in its old days

 

most middle school kids lack the brainpower to play most mmos, so you will find them on games like rs/league.

Well wow still has a huge playerbase.... But not a big audience here if it matters. Plus you have to worry about having gold on the server and faction the customer wants... LoL could sell skins maybe? Some of the RSPS are profitable buying and selling gold.

 

Yeah considering rsps, but sounds very risky

 

I can't speak for middle schoolers, but my sister and her friends, who are all around 8 years old, they're all about iPad gaming. Games like clash of clans, dragonvale, that kind of game. Don't think any of them play computer games.

 

Everyone should try Ghost Recon Phantoms, it's available on steam for free. Personally I've been playing that game since beta, for 2 years now.

 

As society gets lazier and lazier, so do their likes, I suppose. IE: Why APP games are all the rage now. Easy, affordable, don't require all that much attention.

I don't think console or pc gaming is dying by any means, but it's definitely evolving.
