And so the shift from injection to reflection begins.

After powerbot has been detected once again, they are shifting from injection to reflection to stop the horrific bans that occur with powerbot.

In the 07 scene, it seems there is quite a bit of information popping up that injection is also becoming detectable. As of a few days ago, there were no reflection bots for 07, however, last night the first reflection bot was publicly released for 07, TopBot.

What's interesting is that at this present time, reflection is apparently undetectable and seeing as there has been no bot to date (publicly) released for the 07 that has used reflection, I am interested in how bans are going to play out and how accounts will possibly last longer.

I realise server side and pattern detection will still exist, but with this new shift starting to occur from injection to reflection, does anyone here think it will make a difference that the admins of these said sites are making out it will?

 

Hey, there is code in the client to detect modifications in the client. Now some people will say 'just inject that piece of code to not detect the client anymore' but this would mean if they add another piece of code to detect such modifications, that everyone would be banned until the developers find out about that piece of code. So instead of letting Jagex be ahead of us, why not turn the tables?

Edit: I'd never suggest using powerbot, their current developers team is really bad, Jacmob had it going good, after that everything just died.

 

Interesting, so you think developers of huge botting sites are lying to us or what?

I see how the big injection sites are dying out, it's actually pretty sad, tribot is turning into a graveyard.

I also agree with the powerbot comment, but thought It suited the topic and purpose of this thread, as they are also switching over to reflection after years an years of using injection.

I wish you luck on your project and congratulations with the first public reflection bot released for 07.

 

I bet that tribot users have known about the injection all the time, I think they just didn't care, or they are just bad programmers. It might as well be that they are just not that good developers, a really small mistake could lead to huge detectability. Imagine you don't capture focus events(focus happens when a program is on the foreground), but the bot uses the keyboard to type, or uses the mouse. RS would see that the window doesn't have focus but it still gets input for hours, = detectable.
