My simple DIY way to keep your laptop cool

I did the exact same thing with the fans of an phat white Xbox 360. I clipped the part that plugged into the motherboard of the console and soldered the wires to a USB cord that I ripped out of a broken controller.
After wrapping electrical tape around the new connections, I could plug the fans into my laptop's USB port and it would run just as it had in the console (If it had still worked).

It's always a great idea to keep broken gadgets and their parts because you never know when you may have a use for them.
