Community Development Team - Rank?

Heres two birds with one stone, advertise in your sig /thread.

 

Absolutely not. They don't need it. If they have a rank they will start using it in Market threads as some sort of trust icon. If you want a rank to help out the site, that's the wrong attitude.

Nearly all, if not all current CDT members have far more valuable ranks to advertise in terms of market awareness/assertion.

I.e, Mod, $300 Donor, OMM, etc.

 

I voted yes, as other said; you put your time and effort to make this community better, and no one knows everyone on the team without finding the thread that mentions everyone.

 

If anyone deserves anything from the CDT it should be the designer. The CDT doesn't put out events or activities consistently enough for a fun rank to be even brought into discussion.

 

This thread was gravedug anyways, past caring if I'm honest. People don't appreciate it so it's not worth my effort any more xD

 

They are volunteering their time and effort, not doing it as a job. Rank will be abused for trust, soon we will see "[CDT][$50 Donor] XXXXXXX" in titles.


But still, huge props to the CDT for events, but I don't think we should have something like user educators with rank for it.

Make the rule of no [CDT] sign in their sales thread, not that hard if you guys thought people would abuse it for a trust thing.
Remove them from the team or give them a warning of some sort.

 

Who the hell uses CDT in titles wtf lawl. I dont even use or show my donor rank in threads aside Mming. Should close this now.

I've been doing the community game night, and spending my time setting up stuff, and sitting on the game waiting for hours on ends multiple times for no one to show, yet i still try and do it, why? because i want it to be something, not because i want people to say thanks.

 

Good for you! I don't have to do it forever if I don't want to, I did it for two years regardless of any thanks
