I'm not really understanding Sebastian's sudden sense of morality. A character with a lot of potential discarded so feebly and weakly. I can only worry if they'll do the same to Slade.

 

I mean, we always knew he was about the city, even when talking to Oliver and Slade, he always made sure to state he wanted a 'new Starling City', a 'better one'. So yes, he always had that morality in him, however it was his naivety that misguided him into falling for Slades façade.

I also think that to establish Slades forgone 'humanity', and his non present concious/morals, is why he killed of Sebastian so easily, regardless of them to working side by side together. Basically to emphasise how far gone he is.

 

Oh yeah, I wasn't surprised at all by Slade ending him, I just hope that they don't kill him off so soon. He was like the main selling point of Arrow when it was conceptualized.

Wow, a surprising finale.

 

Woah! That was a very interesting finale Can't wait for next season.

 

Not bad. I didn't think the finale was anything special however.

 

I thought there was going to be death on both sides of the good/bad coin. But I'm glad they weren't overly rash. Let things play out a little. While a tad anticlimatic for a finale, it ultimately sets the stage for bigger and better things down the road.

 

CW is airing season 2 again for any one looking to catch up.

When roy was cured he didnt remember anything about going on a rampage. How come Slade remembered everything?

That's a really good question..hmm I might have to re-watch to try and get you an answer to that. Could just be a potential plot hole, or I might have missed something.

I'm honestly not sure why Roy forgot man. The only thing I could think of was maybe because he was unconscious his memory is foggy or gone?

Slade was injected while still awake, so he suffered no memory loss.

I don't know, seems far-fetched but it's the only possible thing I could think of besides it just being a plot-hole.

 

I'm sure its simply perception based.

You need to remember Slade had the Mirakuru in his system for far far far longer than Roy. Slades thoughts and reality was based around the Mirakuru, and what it did to him. It's most likely not intentionally clearly stated to the audience, as we're meant to read between the lines.

Also take into account each persons thresh-hold for pain, coping mechanisms, past history etc. Slades life and past differs drastically from Roys, and thus must effect how the Mirakuru effects each person.

Could simply also be due to how much longer it was in Slade than Roy.

 

Does anyone know if Slade returns again? He was definitely a top notch villain.

 

Oh I am sure he will be back, big time. He's one of their most sought-after actors and was upgraded to series regular this past season. I'd be shocked if he doesn't play a role in Season 3.

At the airport very early this morning coming into the US. Was flagged and brought into the secondary inspection area, where the following exchange took place:

Me: This is strange, I come across the border all the time.

Agent: That might be part of the problem. It seems your travel habits have set off an alert that you're a likely candidate for the transport of either narcotics or cash.

Me: ............... Really?

Agent: Really. Need to ask some follow up questions and go through your bag. I'd prefer to just tell my superiors that you're the (expletive) Arrow, but there are procedures we need to follow.

 

Laurel looks like a crack addict I don't know why but I have this feeling in my gut she does crack in real life.
