Question about a rsgp shop.

Alright, So I haven't been as active lately as I have been before as I don't have that much time to play rs/bot for cash. So I was thinking about opening a rs gold shop that i could manage 1-2hrs a day and maybe 1-3 hrs during the summer. I plan on starting with $1000 CAD is this a good amount to start a rsgp shop with and within 1 month 1-2 hrs each day how much would I make by the end of it?

 

To be honest it probably isn't worth doing it if you can only be active for 1-2 hours a day, you will miss most of your potential customers. When starting out sales are slow anyways so you will probably only get 1-3 legitimate trades per day, not to mention scammers and chargebackers target new traders such as you would be, so you'd be at a high risk of losing money rather than making money.

 

I found most customers came to us around 7PM-2/3AM GMT. So unless you can hit those hours you'll only get a couple people a day and you can't guarantee how much they'll spend. Unless you can hire a buddy or a staff member then it's not worth doing it as a big thing.

 

It's worth it if you invest more time into it, have enough start up capital, and are prepared to suffer losses prior to seeing profits (not always in that order).

If I was you, I wouldn't personally. The market is highly saturated, and there are an abundance of known market giants that will be able to undercut you. Alas, if you are able to beat said giants' price, and remain competitive, then you I'd say go for it.

 

Like other members are mentioning, the start up seems like around a nice value however commitment is needed for something like this, SO many competitors here on sythe and largely trusted sellers. For a couple cents difference a mil most users will just use them.
