Is RS3 or 07 more popular?

I quit when EOC came out, so im just wondering, now theres RS3 and 07 right? are the community's split like 50-50 in terms of population? And is there any decent pvp in the new RS?

They're pretty split, more on RS3 but 07 has a pretty good community. I really liked RS3 releasing Revolution as a way to do combat, you should look into that. It eliminates the button mashing aspect of EoC and makes PvM like Slayer tasks a lot more pleasant. I have been logging a lot more hours in RS 3 than 07 since its inception.

Beauty of it is you can choose either freely, and there's no additional cost to playing 07 if you're already a member.

Well, 07 is more popular imo, but I like 07 more, RS3 just seems to be way to much going on for Runescape.

 

RS3 has more players only because the most people don't want to start new, what I can understand.

 

Maybe if it was completely free to play it would be more popular, but I can't say it's more popular now. And that from someone who likes the old stuff a lot more, trust me.

 

I'd say people are spending more time in rs07.

 

RS3 has more legit players. It has better content updates and generally more content, which is why is has more players.

 

07 carries about 1/3 of the players, EoC has about 2/3. 07 is generally a more active community, and RS3 has no active PvP.

 

I would say RS3, but if f2p was in 07 then 07 would Beat RS3 numberwise

 

I'd say runescape 2007 because it has a really active community and the 2007 economy is still strong unlike the watered down economy of rs3.

 

07 has more people than RS3 but 07 has a lot of bots. They are pretty even overall.

Think about it this way, if you wanted to start playing a new game, would you want to play something that looks out dated, has less content, and no f2p?

Of course not

 

There are always far more players online rs3 than 07.

 

RS3 is more popular in the sense that there are more players, 07 has more bots. Some people claim the 07 community is better than the rs3 community but is say they are both pretty balanced in their manner of shittiness, but that's just my opinion.

 

I prefer old school because eoc reminds me too much of a different game, looks nothing like the game i grew up playing
