What's everyone's thoughts so far?

The biggest surprise was Bortles going #3 and Manziel dropping to #22. So many chances for other teams to pick him up.

I also think Carr shoulda gotten picked up in the first round.

 

Manziel's going to suck I think. Especially now on the Browns..career over before it started.

 

it may take a couple years but I think Manziel will be a great player. He's really maturing and becoming a complete player.

I think Carr will be the best though

 

The Browns though. Ugh. Cleveland sports is just a mess. Manziel didn't look too thrilled, but that may be because he fell a bit.

 

Agreed, Cleveland really is not a good place to go. Who knows though!

 

I like Bridgewater with the Vikings. He may have a chance there. AP will take a lot of pressure off of him.

 

As a Browns fan, I liked the moves they made with this draft. My eternal optimism lives on. Browns win 2017 Superbowl.

 

As a Lions fan, I was disappointed. We needed some improvement in the secondary (was hoping for my boy Darqueze) and we pick up another TE? He's good, but he doesn't fit the team's needs imo

 

Nobody respected Dennard and I can't wait for him to prove everyone wrong.

 

As a steelers fan, we got shazier from ohio state (wooo hooo) and the clown s from cleveland took manziel. Best night of draft ever.

 

It should be an interesting day 2 and 3.

 

I was hoping he slid to the Patriots although that was never going to happen with those measurables. I'm not mad about Dominique Easley though - he provides great pass rush from the inside of the line over other prospects that were more run orientated. Rumor has it that was why Seattle traded out of #32, because their man was taken.

Patriots take Jimmy Garopollo in the 2nd round. Texans pass on drafting a QB. Never read too much into the rumors that Mallet will be traded to the Texans but this makes me think it's a possibility. Potentially for C.J. Fiedorowicz but most likely for a 3rd round or a 2nd next year.

I think everyone suddenly decided to take a bit of interest in the Browns. They look to be in a good position to actually win some games in the future. Ever since the new management fleeced the Colts with Trent Richardson I knew things were going to change in Cleveland. They picked up a Corner many have toted as the best in the draft and a great QB as well as a 1st from Buffalo next year. Semi-OT: I don't get how people can rag on certain QBs saying they will do poorly and others will do great. At best, drafting QBs is an educated guess. For example, every scouting report said Tom Brady would not be a good QB. Time will tell.

 

ya, they also said ponder, gabbert, sanchez, leinart, david carr, harrington, etc would all be good.. then what.
Tom brady is 1 in a million.

And yeah, browns would have had a shot if their SUPERSTAR WR didnt fail a drug test/about to be suspended...

As a Texans fan I'm kinda jelly of the browns. Was hoping H-town would trade in front of the browns late first round and get manziel/bridgewater plus clowney.

i really hope that manziel turns the browns into an actual contending team in the next few. browns fans seriously deserve it after all the abuse they've taken over the last 30+ years lol

my raiders got a good LB, mack looks good from what ive seen. now if he just doesnt turn out to be another rolando mcclain were in good shape

 

Problem is as already mentioned, it looks like Gordon's going to be gone for the yr. The hits are comin and the season hasn't even started yet. Also, the Browns opening schedule (namely first 5 games) are brutal. Steelers 2 times in Manziel's first 5 weeks as an NFL QB..that is not good.

 

The first few picks where predictable. Other than that I like what i see so far. Go Pitt!
