when i made my def pure, 5 att 62 def 5 str << was bored lol.. i found that monks were really good but quite crowded i trained at dwarfs quite alot, maybe you could add in a few different training spots that are good also?

 

Alrighty. Here is some more info on the things you will be attacking in the guide. Crazy just put this up on your guide (No credit given to me or anything).

Monster

Men - 28 XP To Skill + 9 XP to Hitpoints
Monk - 60XP To Skill + 19 XP to Hitpoints
Zombie level 13 - 88 XP To Skill + 29 XP to Hitpoints
Zombie level 18 - 100 XP To Skill + 33 XP to Hitpoints
Zombie level 24 - 120 XP To Skill + 39 XP to Hitpoints

yea im really lazy, and need to make me guide better, im planning on doing that in 2 weeks, when my school gets a week off for a mission trip break, and im not going anywhere so i got nothing to do then. but thanks for the feedback

 

heres a question. i am planning to get a guy with 40 attack 40 str and 50-60 def. now when i go pking (i am f2p btw) what style of attack should i use :accuate aggressive or defensive? accurate trains attack aggressive trains str and defensive trains def. someone plz answer this thks. o and ill be using a rune scimmy when pking too.

 

you should use defensive, so that way your attack and strength dont get up, but its not my choice its yours, but if you have it on aggressive, it may hit 1 more damage, but i dont reccomend doing it

Kind of funny when you see a guy with a whip only having a max hit of one.

 

max hit with a whip at lvl 1 str non potted is 3, thats what i said before -.-

 

well i have a def pure 70 atk 74 def 45 str and i got mine a dif way. the monk thing is ok when ur a low lvl or on non members. but i got my prayer up after i dont priest in paril and donte monkey maddness for the scimmy to train with and also it gives u def xp. but i trained at experiments till i was about 70 def then got torag and went to the bandits. till 70 atk and won a few mill then got 74 def. but hes right about training at monks to begain with but not tll 40 def. about 30 atk 30 str and 30 def then go to experiments. i know that means ur prayer will go up but u can look my def pure up and see hes good. and yah i beat the monster in monkey maddness at lvl 53 cb with 47 mage and 37 prayer lol.

im not saying his way is a bad way but there are many ways u can git ur def lvls up.

 

yah and its kinda funny when u cant hit them........

 

i wouldnt pk with that even on f2p you should just stick to training.

I didn't bother to read everyones posts so if someone else has already said this, don't mind me.

It's about time people start getting interested in defense, its easily the most powerful stat there is.

Something you could include is rock crabs, they're great exp and take forever to kill with low att/str, thats where I was training my staker before it ran out of membership. The only thing to mention is that if you dont plan on being 1 attack/strength is to get those stats first, so you can train quicker with def.

My tank staker is 62 att 30 str 40 def level 52 cmb atm, itll be that way for a while though, getting distracted by my skill total again.

*edit* Also, tank rangers work quite a bit better than tank melees in the wilderness, tank melee is only really good at staking. I say that knowing full well that you're a staker, but most people like pking more than staking, dont know why :$

 

lol nice, but the goal of my guide was to really just the basics of how to start off making a staker to around 60 def, i added up to 70 to make it for people that actually get that far, yes im going to make it up to lvl 99 def soon enough, add all of the members, and non-members options they have, including rockcrabs, but not really experiments, the goal is to be able to make a good staker, and the key to staking is lvl 1 prayer.
