Upon my return..

Hi guys.

I haven't played RS07 in quite a long time and I understand it may have changed a little (or a lot) since then. My questions are:

- What do you think I should do with this account?
- What would be the best money making techniques for me as a level 3?

My account is pretty basic.. level 3 combat with 99 fletching and 70 herblore. All other stats are pretty irrelevant. There's not a great number of quests completed but I'd be willing to complete more if there was money making opportunities to be gained..

What are your thoughts? :idea:

 

Get your other stats up. These in particular:

Woodcutting (61-75 yews with a dragon axe, you make around 4m)
Fishing (40 for lobsters, they are decent money)
Crafting (Aim for 62 crafting via bowstring, you make 1.4m profit and takes a few days)
Mining (30 for Motherlode mining)
Hunter (63 for red chins)
Runecrafting (54 for Law runes)

Agility is a great supporting skill for some of these, aim for 70 agility longterm.

 

What is motherlode mining? Not heard of it before.

 

I would say get up your woodcutting and make some good money with that 99 fletching skill.

Is it worth the time getting woodcutting up? I seem to remember is being quite tedious/slow in terms of cash.

Is this new update good for money making or is it good exp?

 

Money making, the xp isn't better than power mining iron ore or granite.

 

You would have to string the bows to make a lot of money off of woodcutting. Yew longs

 

Cheers for the replies guys. If I choose to fletch for cash then I'd probably buy (u) bows and string them.

Interesting to know about the mining.. not something I would have seen!

 

get up to 32 farming i think which is a breeze, farm ranarrs with all your money and make a bunch, for barely little work. and than just train whatever build you want

 

I suppose that would just be something I could do on the side, no?

arent nats better money thn laws?

 

I'm assuming it would be harder to do nats for a level 3 (assuming there is no new update that I'm aware of?).

I am yet to decide what to do with this account - any more suggestions?

 

To answer some questions:

I'd say RC is a great option for a level 3, but you'll make decent money doing a lot of production skills if you buy items/sell products for the right prices.

Other than that, fishing is decent money and very relaxed, haven't tried motherlode mine but i've heard it's good/relaxed, and other than that I'm not really sure - it's difficult to make money on lvl 3's honestly haha.

Any reason you don't wanna get a higher combat lvl?

 

yeah def do it on the side. it's good side money for logging in every 1.5 hours if you don't want to play.

 

I think 07scape has been transformed primarily for the purposes of pking. Throw that 99 cape on and start looting baby!
