My buddy that played with me originally got unlucky last season when we qualed. I worked from my silver 3 qual to plat and he qualed bronze 3. He told me that we're still equal in ability but elo hell is harder than gold, so I made this account to prove him wrong.

He was right. He played on my account and won plenty in plat. Elo hell is harder than high elo.

 

No it's not. Not a single booster will agree with you. I've won 25+ games in a row from Bronze>Gold5 when boosting.

ELO hell is an excuse for people who cant climb.

Plat I is true elo hell. Everyone is angry/tryharding because they want to get to diamond 5. Everybody is angry at everybody and everything because they think they are individually the best even though they barely break the top 10%.

Bronze "elo hell" is easy as fuck. I won 50 fizz games in a row starting bronze 5 last year building lich bane -> sunfire cape

 

Game is easy until P1. Even boosters will tell you that it takes a minor amount of luck to get the fuck out of plat 1 into diamond -- people are good enough mechanically where you can fail to carry even if you play very well.

D5-D4 aren't that bad because they're typically filled with kids that are boosted, but then it gets hard again at D3-D1. Even pro players fluctuate from D1 down to D3 occasionally.

Blade, I slightly agree with you. Bronze is definitely harder to get out of then Silver/early gold. Never been out of Gold though.
