Curse Voice

So at the moment heaps of people are arguing whether or not this and all add-ons should be ruled against by riot, my personal opinion is riot should buy this from curse and implement it in their game, then proceed to make add-ons illicit.

Only due to the fact that firstly this add-on has been rendered exclusive so not all people have access to it, i myself still haven't gotten a beta key (if someone is willing to sell or has an extra message me ) and secondly it opens up room for add-ons that will tell you when enemy champions have cool down on ults and abilities and pretty much take out the skill required in the pro scene.

I think there should be a huge limit on what hey could do, i'm not sure how i feel even about knowing your allies ult cooldowns.

But with of all the Curse Voice. If some people have it, and are allowed it, then everyone should have access to it. Either that, or it should just be banned entirely. The timers and such take away the learning of timings of the game, which removes that certain skill which gives some people an advantage.

 

Well curse client does not give you cool down on ults and abilities for the enemy team it only gives it for your team and apart from that it just tells you how long till baron/drag is up and if there is no vision on the baron/drag it does not even tell you the times just "Dead". But it still give the people with it a advantage so if its gonna stay riot should just add it in for all players.

 

Already something that does this. Forgot it's name, but its the exact same as Curseclient, but was released well before...maybe 6months-1 year ago. Tells you when the enemy uses their flash/how long till it's up/cooldowns between their abilities etc. However, all that information is common knowledge for pro/experienced players anyway. It's not really giving you any unknown information.

But yes, I would prefer if it wasn't allowed - I don't use it.

 

CurseVoice's dragon/baron timer isn't that OP.
What is considered OP in my book is that ult. timers. That opens up so many possibilities to take advantage of in High Elo where people are actually keeping track of their enemy's cooldown.

 

I don't really have a problem with curse, i tried it and its nice to have and all but i would prefer stuff like this didnt exist, once riot starts allowing things like this then in a year it will become wow where you have a dozen add-ons to be able to compete on the same level with everyone else, things that make creeps highlighted when u have enough AD to last hit them, warning alert (Noises) for when the jungler appears on the mini map, you name it......I think that curse timer on cds and baron/dragon isnt that huge of a deal but i feel it may be the start of something i'd rather not have to deal with

Absolutely not. League isn't a game that add-ons should be allowed for. That's like having an add-on in starcraft that automatically has a build order preset and builds it perfectly. wot?

You mean Allow other types of personally made add-ons?

If you are talking about curse, it already is allowed

 

I love the voice communications it offers, not a big fan of all the timer gadgets. Cripples you as a player.

Source where it says it's banned? I know it's banned on LAN/LAS, however not on OCE/NA/EU etc.

i think Riot will end up implementing ultimate timers in game to avoid this kind of problems, would be a nice addition
