    Internet Cancellation scam.

Here begins a new wave of scams, so basically an Indian, (no offence) will call you and state that your internet is being cancelled due to 'illegal' downloads. He or she will most likely state that they are from Telstr, which made absolutely no sense because I am with Optus, after questioning why this was, they then put a supervisor on, claiming that they have the authority to cancel my internet, due to 'Illegal downloads'. Now most people have at least one or two illegal files on their computer, whether it be games or music, we all have them. However under NO circumstance, will your provider call you about a cancellation, without first sending you a warning email. Always ask for a reference number and ask to call them back on their official telephone if something seems slightly off.

    Thanks for listening.

    Internet Cancellation scam.

Because they'll probably try and ask you for credit card or bank details for "verification" purposes. Or ask for some other kind of payment.

While most people wouldn't fall for something like this, he's not asking for pity or trolling, it's a genuine warning to help others. I don't see what's wrong with that but you seem to have some sort of personal issue in relation to this.

    Internet Cancellation scam.

    This post is fucking stupid.

Have nothing constructive/positive to say to someone genuinely encouraging discussion/voicing their concern; then don't post. Albeit it's not the most interesting of topics.

Think before posting once in a while.
