So how many of you here have played either the foreign versions, alpha or are excited for this game. To those of you who dont know Archeage is a large sandbox mmo by XLgames, being published by Trion here in NA as well as EU.

This game worth a look? I've seen it streamed on Twitch.

 

Its worth it in my honest opinion, its a pretty big sandbox adventure its not comepletely free, but it has a player run economy everything has to be made from scratch trade run empires are a big thing. You can also build castles, mansions, normal houses. You can rent a cabana on the ocean to start an aqua farm.

This is a 15 minute video describing some of the basic features of archeage itself I also recommend joining the forum and getting used to the community and it would help brainstorm ideas for the game itself.

there are 120 possible class combinations, you have 3 skill trees at a time but you have to level them up by playing with them and at any time you can reset your tree and completely respec what you do on one character, like say you are an archer with illusion magic and protection well you can swap any of those out for a new tree but youll have to level said tree.

 

Having to pay a minimum of $150.00 USD to play in ALPHA is a ridiculous thing.
$50.00 for Beta...

That's just...unheard of.

Yeah alot of people have bought into it, but when you look at it people have to paid for translating and coding certain thigns in and out of the game. Since it is only published in america by trion it allows them to fund their employees that arent working on their major products, unfortunately its just business. You dont have to pay into open beta will be sometime in july.
